Jay Holland

Jay Holland is the husband of Emily and the biological and adoptive father of four. Over the last twenty years, Jay has served as a Family and Student Pastor in West Virginia, Tennessee, and Stuart, Florida, where he currently resides. During this stretch, Jay has fought to keep his family upright through the death of a spouse, the leukemia journey of his son, and multiple counts of trauma and mental illness while parenting in the foster system. With so many severe crises in the home, Jay has had not option of pretending to have it all together. By the grace of God and the blessing of a church family that knows how to bear one another’s burdens, Jay and his family have been able to go beyond survival mode into seeing themselves as instruments of Jesus equipped to be a blessing to the world. Jay started the Let’s Parent on Purpose podcast nearly four years ago to equip and empower moms and dads in his own church and around the world. Knowing how difficult parenting can be when isolated from a spiritual support community, Let’s Parent on Purpose seeks to strengthen families through sharpening their marriage, parenting, and personal walk with Jesus.
