Robert Beeson

Robert Beeson enjoyed a lavish 17 year career as the Grammy Award winning founder of Essential Records and former Senior Vice President of Sony / Provident. He oversaw the signing and/or development of artists like Jars of Clay, Third Day, Michael W Smith and Casting Crowns and many others. Unfortunately the fast paced lifestyle provided little foundation for a healthy home. 13 years into his marriage his wife left and Robert found himself raising his 3 daughters ages 9, 7 and 4 on his own. Although this wasn’t the path he would have chosen it altered his course and reframed his understanding of every aspect of life.

In 2017 he started Solo Parent Society and in 2018 he left his full time job to invest his full focus into launching the movement to help single parents and their families thrive. In just a few short months the support groups have spread from Robert’s hometown of Franklin TN to 18 states, zoom groups 6 days a week with participants from around the world, the weekly podcast has over 100,000 downloads and Robert’s story has been published in a book by Focus on the Family.
